Thomas Canedo, Seattle Seahawks

Hailing from Clemson University, Thomas Canedo graduated in 2016 with a Major in Business Management and a Minor in Sports Communication. Thomas began his professional career as a Corporate Partnership Intern with the Atlanta Falcons during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Following the 2017 season, Thomas accepted a role as a Manager of Partnership Activation with the Seattle Seahawks where he has spent the last 5 years supporting both sales and marketing efforts for the organization. Throughout his career, Thomas has collected an array of NFL Best Practice Awards, helped redefine the structure and processes of the Seahawks organization and experienced many memorable lessons along the way.

Blake Coleman, Deloitte

Blake Coleman is originally from Alpharetta, GA and attended Rice University (Houston, TX) for college, where he studied Political Science and Social Policy Analysis. During his time at Rice, he interned for Harris County, the U.S. Department of State (Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation), the U.K. Parliament, and Deloitte, eventually leading to his full-time job at Deloitte.

Blake is currently living in Washington, D.C. working for Deloitte as a Government Consultant. He currently works with federal clients performing strategy and policy-related work, specifically focusing on security and broadband.

Evan Coleman, LinkedIn

Evan is a transplant of Atlanta, GA with a passion for bringing people with similar experiences together. While obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Emory University, Evan played four seasons on the men’s varsity basketball team, which included three conference titles and four NCAA tournament appearances (2013-2016). Shortly after graduation, Evan began working at Fortune 500 consumer goods organization as a lead Brand Marketer. Experiencing brand marketing and strategy at the global level has further fueled his efforts to blend his interest of business with a passion for sports & culture. Evan now works in Tech as a Marketing Manager at LinkedIn. He currently resides in South Florida with his wife, Maryam, and their 1-year-old son, Kai.

Christen Nino De Guzman is the founder of Clara for Creators. An industry vet, Christen has almost a decade of experience working with top content creators at social networking companies like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. She is a motivational speaker and mentor in the tech space who is passionate about helping people break into the industry and level-up through her career advice and actionable content.

Colby Harris, Grit.org

Colby Harris is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for improving the lives of others. Through speaking, training & coaching, Colby’s mission is to showcase a blueprint for success. From growing up with bears in the backyards of Highlands NC to barrels for breakfast in Fernandina Beach FL, Colby Harris attended 5 schools in a 4000 foot span of altitude. Kayaking tour guide, surfing champion, student body President, and running his own pressure washing business helped him develop a plethora of skills as a young man. The global Pandemic his senior year of Highschool catapulted him into Grit University, where he further developed his toolbox for success by running and developing a summer sports camp called Grit Camp. After making $6k his first summer & $10,000 in 8 weeks his second summer, Colby joined Grit.org as a Business Development Associate. He is the host of the Grit.org Podcast which now has over 16 episodes with guests including Olympic athletes, world champions, entrepreneurs, and NFL veterans. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tennessee and my MBA from Emory University. My career has been split across two main functions, Supply Chain Management and Product Management. I began my career in Software Consulting before transitioning to the Manufacturing space for a few years where I focused on Process Optimization. I then spent a little over 6 years in the Automotive Industry between Mercedes-Benz and Bridgestone primarily focused on Product Management and Product Strategy. Since then, I’ve combined my passions for Product Management and endurance sports with my current adventure at Wahoo Fitness, a fitness technology company based here in Atlanta!

Melanie Stewart, a graduate of Stetson University, is an advertising expert as she’s worked for 2 of the biggest platforms globally. Starting her career at Google and recently moving over to Amazon, Melanie has worked with some of the globe’s biggest clients to create and manage their digital marketing strategies.

Melanie is not only an industry expert, but she has led and been a part of different DE&I initiatives in her career particularly for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Melanie is an innovator, trail-blazer and while her career journey to Google was non-traditional, she has proven that her career path in advertising sales for the globe’s biggest companies is the right place for her.

Anne Waldner Rohling, PT Solutions

Anne Waldner Rohling is a native of Atlanta, GA. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2011. She graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2015. She has practiced as an orthopedic clinician, recently stepping into a supervisor role for Northside Hospital Atlanta. She currently supervises a team of 25 licensed clinicians, has represented Georgia within Physical Therapy’s national association and recently presented as the keynote speaker at Mercer’s DPT induction ceremony. She gained valuable lessons from the basketball court, as well as coaching on the sidelines, which helped create the foundation for the leadership legacy she continues to develop today.
